Soda Tax Reasoning Unfounded

The argument that government should tax soda for the good of society has no basis in research or common sense, says Rob Raffey in an opinion piece in the Daily Caller on April 6, 2010.  “Slapping a tax on soda to reduce obesity will have about as much effect on the collective waistline as the last fad diet had on mine: none at all,” he says.
